I am looking forward to Spring! My sewing room is in an unheated uninsulated front porch. So in the Winter months I set up my sewing space in the dining room. It is a bit of a mess!
My next quilting adventure is to make a String Quilt from my growing pile of fabric scraps. It is a lot of fun. Seams do not have to match and fabric pieces do not have to be any specific size.
It will look like this. I need 54 squares and have 35 finished. I think I will strip piece the back as well to use up more fabric. Then I am going to treat myself and have it machine quilted. I would like to have it finished by the end of the year. No more 5 year quilts for me!
